1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Media Mastery Institute ("MMI", "we", "us", or "our"), accessible via learnmmi.com and our learning portal at app.learnmmi.com. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, courses, materials, community channels, and learning platform services.

By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise accessing our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our platform.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

• Student Accounts: You may register for a learner account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.


• Single-User License: Each student account is strictly for individual use. You may not share, sell, transfer, or sublicense your login credentials or course access to any third party.


• Instructor & Organization Accounts: Instructor and institutional/organization accounts are provisioned solely by MMI Administration. Unauthorized creation or impersonation of instructor privileges is strictly prohibited.

3. Course Enrollment, Fees & Payments

• Pricing & Currencies: All course fees and subscription charges are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN / ₦) or United States Dollars (USD / $) depending on your region and payment method. MMI reserves the right to modify course prices at any time without retroactive impact on existing enrollments.


• Payment Processing: Payments on MMI are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party gateways (such as Paystack, Flutterwave, or Stripe). You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes associated with your purchases.


• Scholarships & Promotional Offers: Special discounts, promotional codes, and scholarship programs (including the Founding 100 Scholarship) are subject to specific seat allocations, deadlines, and eligibility criteria, and cannot be exchanged for cash or combined unless explicitly stated.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Because MMI provides immediate access to proprietary digital education content, downloadable practical frameworks, and intellectual assets, the following refund conditions apply:

• Refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@learnmmi.com within 7 days of the original purchase date.


• To qualify for a refund, the learner must have consumed less than 20% of the total course video content and must not have downloaded proprietary templates or project briefs.


• Scholarship seats and special discounted cohort bundles are non-refundable once enrolled.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content published on the MMI platform — including video lectures, audio recordings, text lessons, downloadable slides, project briefs, curriculum outlines, logos, and visual assets — is the exclusive intellectual property of Media Mastery Institute and its licensors, protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

• Permitted Use: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view course materials solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.


• Prohibited Actions: You may not record, rip, download (except where expressly designated), republish, redistribute, broadcast, resell, create derivative works from, or use automated scrapers on any MMI learning materials. Violation of this clause will lead to immediate account termination without refund and legal claims for damages.

6. Code of Conduct & Community Guidelines

As an MMI student, you are part of a vibrant, professional community of aspiring marketers and practitioners. You agree to adhere to the following standards:

• Maintain respectful, courteous, and constructive communication across forums, live sessions, and group discussions.


• Do not engage in harassment, hate speech, defamation, spamming, or sharing harmful, malicious, or unsolicited advertising content.


• Maintain academic integrity: submit your own work for audits, capstone projects, and assignments. Plagiarism or submitting other people's work as your own will result in disqualification from certification.

7. Certificates of Completion

Certificates of completion are awarded to learners who successfully finish 100% of required course modules and pass the associated quizzes or capstone evaluations. MMI certificates serve as validation of practical knowledge and skills acquired through our practitioner-designed curriculum. Certificates do not guarantee employment, academic credits, or formal university degrees.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• No Guarantee of Career Outcomes: While MMI programs are designed by industry practitioners to build job-ready skills and real portfolios, we cannot and do not guarantee specific salaries, employment placements, client acquisitions, or revenue outcomes. Success depends on individual dedication, execution, and external market dynamics.


• Service Availability: We strive to maintain 99.9% portal uptime, but the platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. MMI is not liable for temporary server downtimes, scheduled maintenance, or third-party internet connectivity issues.


• Liability Limit: In no event shall Media Mastery Institute, its directors, instructors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific course in dispute.

9. Termination

MMI reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and revoke access to any course materials immediately, without prior notice or refund, if you breach any provision of these Terms or engage in behavior deemed harmful to the platform or other students.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiation, failing which it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be updated. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
